Tear Trough Filler

SAY GOODBYE TO DARK CIRCLES & TIRED EYES

TEAR TROUGH FILLER

Tear Trough Filler

One of the early signs of ageing is a hollowing in the tear trough, and the impact gradually becomes more prominent.

Tear Trough Fillers work by using Dermal Fillers to replace lost volume under the eye in the tear trough, instantly lifting and revitalising this area, softening the tear trough and restoring a more youthful appearance.

Injecting fillers underneath the eyes requires specialist skills and Tracie Giles has extensive experience and expertise in this area.

What are Tear Trough Fillers?

The section between your lower eyelid and the upper cheek is commonly known as the tear trough. One of the early signs of ageing is a hollowing in the tear trough, and the impact gradually becomes more prominent. This can extend down into the cheek area and additionally form a ‘cheek trough’.

The eye area is very sensitive and fragile and can easily reveal the signs of age or fatigue. As we age the tear trough area changes in appearance, becoming hollower, darker, deeper, and less vitalised. These changes can make your eyes look sunken, create unattractive dark shadowing, and can also cause bags to appear. This gives the appearance of exhaustion and tiredness, as well as old age.

Tear Trough Fillers work by using specific Dermal Fillers to replace lost volume under the eye in the tear trough, instantly lifting and revitalising this area, softening the tear trough and restoring a more youthful appearance.

Injecting fillers underneath the eyes requires specialist skills and Tracie Giles has extensive experience and expertise in this area.

Why have Tear Trough Fillers?

The eyes are one of the first areas to show the signs of premature ageing.

As we age the skin loses collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid and appears dry, thin and prone to wrinkling and sagging. The tear trough loses volume from bone reabsorption and increased hollowing – yes our eyes literally do sink into our head as we get older! – which makes the under-eye area look hollow and the face look tired and older.

Expertly injecting Dermal Fillers into the tear trough will instantly make the eye area look refreshed and revitalised, contouring and lifting the face for a younger, fresher appearance.

What do I need to know about the Tear Trough Filler treatment process?

We advise all clients use Crème Rescue Serum for 2 weeks before treatment to give us the best possible canvas to work from. Crème Rescue Serum should also be used immediately after treatment to speed up healing and as part of your everyday skincare routine for ongoing skin maintenance.

Tracie will complete an in-depth facial analysis and discuss your beauty goals with you. Dermal Fillers are then delivered as a series of injections into the tear trough.

New clients often ask how painful fillers are. This really depends on each individual and the fillers required. We use the latest filler product with local anaesthetic in the filler itself – so treatments are now virtually pain free. We also apply a numbing cream before and during the treatment to minimise any discomfort.

We will provide a soothing ice pack if needed and apply Crème Rescue after treatment.

What is the recovery like after Tear Trough Fillers?

Clients usually experience minimal discomfort or downtime with the Tear Trough Filler treatment. There may be some swelling and bruising but this will usually subside in 24-48 hours.

Results usually last 6-12 months.

Bespoke Aesthetics Consultations

At Tracie Giles London we offer bespoke aesthetics consultations where clients can meet with Tracie Giles to create a unique treatment plan that achieves their beauty goals and ‘turns back the clock’ if possible.

This face-to-face consultation is completely ‘client focused’ to help explore which advanced aesthetic treatments can work for you, including an in-depth explanation of the available treatments on offer, what they involve and which we believe will be best suited to you. During the consultation Tracie will discuss and assess your aspirations for areas of improvement, possible enhancements, and you will leave with a summary of realistic expectations for each procedure or skin protocol.

Often for clients aged of 30 – 60+, Tracie recommends that you bring a close up facial photo taken 10-20 years ago so that a detailed analysis can be completed to identify your extrinsic and intrinsic ageing pathway.
