Nefertiti Neck Lift

A well-defined jawline has been a thing of beauty since the time of the Ancient Egyptians. Named after the much-admired, toned, smooth neck and lifted jawline of Queen Nefertiti, the Nefertiti Neck Lift is a non-surgical procedure that redefines and contours the jaw and neck for a more youthful appearance.

Anti-Wrinkle Injections are administered along the lower jawline as well as down the side of the neck along the platysma muscle to improve definition, rebalance underlying muscles and lift the jaw and neck area.

This counters the effects of gravity, relaxing the downward pulling muscles (known as “depressors”), allowing the muscles in the upper face (“elevators”) to pull the tissue up, creating a rejuvenating, lifting effect.

As we age, the skin on our jawline and neck starts to sag downwards creating the appearance of sagging ‘jowls’ and the dreaded ‘turkey neck’. The edges of the mouth also start to downturn, giving the impression of a permanent frown.

For a more youthful appearance the neck needs to be smooth, the jawline defined and the mouth area lifted.

We advise all clients use Crème Rescue Serum for 2 weeks before treatment to give us the best possible canvas to work from. Crème Rescue Serum should also be used immediately after treatment to speed up healing and as part of your everyday skincare routine for ongoing skin maintenance.

After completing an initial consultation and facial analysis, Tracie will inject a series of Anti-Wrinkle Injections along the lower jawline and into a muscle in the neck, known as the platysma.

By expertly and precisely administering these injections in targeted areas we can improve the jawline definition and lift the neck.

The procedure itself only takes a few minutes and you should experience little to no discomfort at the needles used are so fine.

There is no ‘down-time’ following the Nefertiti Neck Lift treatment and you will be able to go about your normal activities immediately following the treatment. The only exception is avoiding strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours after treatment.

You may have some small bumps, bruising or redness at the injection sights, but this is usually unnoticeable and will not last.

It’s important to note that the effects of Anti-Wrinkle injections are not immediate, and the final results may take two weeks to show. Tracie Giles London will arrange a review after two weeks where Tracie can check the results and make any small adjustments.

Results usually last about three – four months. If the area is treated as soon as the muscles start to move, then the muscles never regain their ‘memory’. This means after a number of treatments the interval between the treatments should in some cases become longer.
