Permanent Eyebrows Step by Step.

Our team at Tracie Giles Knightsbridge use their years of experience and industry expertise as well as the best pigments and tools in the industry to provide each client with a totally bespoke service and design brows that are perfectly suited to them. While every set of permanent eyebrows is individual to each client and different from the last, the same steps are followed by our team to create beautiful brows.

Step 1: Brow Consultation

Firstly we will discuss what type of brows you are after; some clients will come in with pictures of brows that they like while others prefer to discuss their options with our technicians. You will be fully involved in the creation of your brows.

We will then assess your skins undertones to make sure the pigment that is chosen for you will hold correctly in your skin. This in itself is highly skilled and takes a great deal of experience to successfully understand.

After we have agreed on the style of brow and the pigment colour we will measure your facial dimensions and brows with callipers so that we are able to give you a result that is most flattering for your bone structure.

Step 2: Pre-Drawing

We will pencil on the brows at this stage, and you will approve the shape. This pencil will add a guide as we begin the treatment and will be wiped off once the treatment is underway.

Step 3: Pre-Treatment Numbing

Anaesthetic will be applied to ensure that you are as comfortable as possible throughout your treatment. The sensation differs from person to person, but our most common feedback is that treatment tends to feel a little ‘scratchy’.  This sensation will ease as the anaesthetic works.

Step 4: The Treatment

Tracie and her team will then use their signature technique to replicate the appearance of actual hairs in the skin in the pre-designed shape that has been agreed by you.

Final hair-by-hair adjustments will be made to make sure your new brows are as flattering as possible and exactly what you want. However, the treatment is only half complete!

Step 5: Re-Touch

The colour from the first application will fade by more than 50%. The reason for this is so that we can see how well your skin retains the pigment and add more colour if necessary at your re-touch appointment, which must be taken within 12 weeks. We can also make any slight adjustments to the shape or style at this appointment.

Step 6: Brow Maintenance

Proper aftercare is so important to speed up the healing process and to maximise pigment retention. Our Crème Rescue Post-Treatment Recovery Serum has been designed especially for this!

We also recommend that our clients come back at least once a year for an annual re-touch to keep the colour refreshed and make any anti-aging shape adjustments. Without this yearly top-up, the pigment will eventually fade out of the skin.
